Creator Terms

Current Creator Payment Status

Creator monetization and payouts are not active unless Pairousel enables them through approved payment, payout, age-verification, identity, moderation, and compliance providers. Until then, Pairousel can operate as a free live social app without paid creator or adult-oriented paid features.

Creator Eligibility

• Creators must be at least 18 years old and must comply with the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Community Guidelines.
• Creators may be required to complete identity, age, liveness, sanctions, tax, payout-account, and platform eligibility verification before receiving paid requests or payouts.
• Any person depicted in adult-oriented creator content or paid adult interaction workflows must be an adult and may be required to complete identity, age, consent, and records checks before the content or interaction is permitted.
• Pairousel may deny, suspend, or remove creator monetization for safety, fraud, compliance, chargeback, or policy reasons.

Creator Responsibilities

• Pairousel owns and enforces the platform rules for creator monetization, permitted content categories, verification gates, moderation, payout eligibility, and account enforcement.
• Creators are also responsible for the content and interactions they provide through Pairousel and must comply with Pairousel’s platform rules, provider rules, and applicable law.
• Creators must not sell or facilitate illegal goods, illegal services, coercive activity, exploitative content, impersonation, fraud, or prohibited sexual content.
• Creators must respect user consent, privacy, and boundaries. Recording or redistributing another user’s content without consent is prohibited.
• Creators must not direct users to pay off-platform for activity that began on Pairousel if that would avoid platform rules, processor rules, or user protections.
• Creators must not include another person in any adult-oriented content or paid interaction unless that person has completed all required age, identity, consent, and platform records workflows.

Paid Creator Features

• Pairousel may support paid digital features such as paid interactions, paid sessions, tips, unlocks, subscriptions, or other creator offerings.
• The initial paid pilot is planned as a U.S.-only, USD-only prepaid token model for optional paid creator interactions.
• Launch token packages are 500 tokens for $5.00, 1,000 tokens for $10.00, and 2,000 tokens for $20.00, with 1 token equal to $0.01 for payout accounting.
• Pairousel retains a 30% platform fee from each paid metered minute and creators receive 70% after the platform fee.
• Exact feature names, prices, platform fees, and creator earnings are shown before purchase or before a creator enables the paid feature.
• Pairousel may set minimum and maximum prices, limit available categories, require pre-approval for adult-oriented workflows, or remove features that create compliance, safety, fraud, or payment risk.

Payout Flow

• Creator earnings accrue in a pending balance after successful paid usage.
• Pairousel applies a standard 7-day hold before verified creator earnings become available.
• Available balances may be paid out through the payout provider after the creator completes required verification and reaches the 5,000-token launch payout minimum.
• The routine automatic chargeback reserve is 0% at launch, with account-specific payout holds or reserves available for elevated risk or provider requirements.
• Pairousel may withhold, reverse, reserve, or delay payouts related to refunds, chargebacks, suspected fraud, illegal activity, policy violations, or processor requirements.

Taxes and Records

• Creators are responsible for taxes connected to their creator earnings unless applicable law requires otherwise.
• U.S. creators must provide legal name, address, date of birth, government identification, payout details, and a Form W-9 before payouts are released.
• Pairousel or its providers may retain identity, age, consent, content-to-performer association, transaction, payout, tax, and compliance records as required by law, processor rules, provider rules, and fraud-prevention obligations.

Account Closure and Unpaid Balances

• Requesting account deletion immediately removes normal creator access, public visibility, and the ability to earn new funds, but it does not waive unpaid obligations or payout eligibility requirements.
• If a creator has unpaid earnings, an in-progress payout, or a financial or compliance hold, Pairousel may keep a restricted closing-account record and limited access for payout methods, tax documents, verification, status information, and support.
• Funds may remain subject to refunds, chargebacks, sanctions review, fraud review, tax reporting, reserves, provider requirements, and other compliance holds after account closure.
• Pairousel may retain, hold, report, remit, or otherwise handle unpaid or unclaimed balances as required by applicable law. An internal closure review date does not automatically transfer unpaid funds to Pairousel.
• Account deletion or closure does not cancel tax reporting, recordkeeping, chargeback, refund, compliance, or legally required retention obligations.

Moderation and Enforcement

• Creator content and conduct remain subject to Pairousel moderation and enforcement rules.
• Pairousel may require manual review, automated checks, complaint review, takedown review, re-verification, or additional documentation before creator features remain available.
• Severe violations may result in immediate removal from creator monetization, account termination, payout holds, and reports to payment providers or authorities where appropriate.
• Creators may appeal eligible moderation decisions using the appeal process available in the app or by contacting support.
